Lunches and Snacks
Lancashire School Meals Catering Service Website
Lunches
At lunch time children may have a school lunch, bring their own packed lunch, or go home for lunch. Children who stay for a school lunch should pay dinner money (currently £14.00 per week, £2.80 per day) using the ParentPay app. Log in details are available from the school office. The school requires 2 weeks notice if your child wishes to change from sandwiches to dinners or vice versa. For information on the menu available, please visit the link below.
If you have any comments or complaints about Lancashire School Meals, or require further information, please email cateringservices@lancashire.gov.uk.
Children bringing a packed lunch should have a suitable lunch box in which to bring the lunch and keep it fresh through the morning. Children having packed lunches are entitled to bring a drink, but no glass bottles please. Children should bring their own spoons for use with yoghurts etc.
SNACKS
Children may bring a healthy snack item each day from home to eat at the mid morning break.
NATIONAL SCHOOL FRUIT SCHEME
The children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have the opportunity to participate in the National School Fruit Scheme whereby they are offered a free piece of fruit each day.
